1. What we use, and why
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent required? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
smt_consent | First-party cookie | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months | No — strictly necessary |
smt.cart.v1 | localStorage | Keeps your cart contents across visits | Until cleared | No — strictly necessary |
smt.lastOrder.v1 | localStorage | Keeps your last order confirmation viewable after a refresh | Until cleared | No — strictly necessary |
_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4) | Third-party cookie | Understands which pages are used, in aggregate | Up to 13 months | Yes — off by default |
2. How consent works on this site
On your first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Preferences. No non-essential cookie — including the Google Analytics 4 cookies above — is set or loaded until you actively choose "Accept all" or enable "Analytics" in Preferences. Rejecting analytics means the Analytics script is never injected into the page at all, not merely hidden.
3. Changing your choice
Your choice is remembered for 6 months. To change it at any time, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer on any page — it reopens the same preferences dialog, pre-filled with your current choice.
4. More detail
For the full detail on what Google Analytics 4 does with data once you've opted in, see §5 of our Privacy Policy.
